The HHS Peer Helpers sponsored a Halloween Anti-Vape Week that included dress-up days, a costume contest, & a pep rally with spirit-point competitions. Special thanks to our guests Chad Whaley & Jamie Hammock for speaking to our students about the dangers of vaping.
This week Peer Helpers from Hanceville High School & Middle School attended a training focused on connecting, listening, understanding, coping, & seeking adult intervention for their peers. Peer helpers are students selected for demonstrating kindness, leadership, & strong character. During the training, students also had the opportunity to meet peer helpers from across the district & participate in team-building activities.

HHS is inviting our our veterans to join us for our Veterans Day program in the high school gym on November 10 at 8:15 AM. RSVP forms are available in the office for veterans to reply. We're looking forward to seeing both past and current veterans that day.
Take a stand at HHS against vapes and don't let vaping haunt your future! Over the next few days, HHS students can dress up as part of our Halloween Anti-Vaping Spirit week. Students can enter the costume contest by accessing the link in their email.
HHS students brought 560 cans for the SGA/Leo Club Food Drive. Our 12th Graders earned spirit points by bringing the most items & they chose Mrs. Cone's door to block for the day. The food items were donated to The Link of Cullman County.
