Spring Break is coming up. HHS students will be out of school from March 27 to March 31. We hope that everyone has a safe and enjoyable time off and we'll see you in April.
It's Senior Night for HHS Baseball! Senior players will be honored tonight as the Dawgs take on Pennington at 5 PM.
Report cards for the 3rd 9 Weeks were issued on March 17.
Seniors, your deadline to submit senior info and baby pictures to the HHS Enhancer yearbook is tomorrow (Friday, March 17). You will find the form in an email from Mr. Adams. Contact Mr. Adams in the library if you need assistance submitting your information.
HHS Cheer tryouts will be March 24th at 3:30 PM in the HHS Gym. The tryout clinic will be March 20, 22, and 23 from 3:30 PM to 5 PM. See Mrs. Brown at break for more details.

Tomorrow is the big day! All HHS Juniors will take the ACT on campus. Students need to be at school before 7:45 AM and will not need backpacks, Chromebooks, or cell phones/smart watches since these items cannot be taken into the testing rooms.

The Comprehensive Math team and the Algebra II team both finished 1st and the Geometry team finished 2nd. The HHS Basketball and Volleyball Banquet will be at Stone Bridge Farms on Sunday, March 12, at 6 PM. Tickets for this event can be purchased on GoFan.co (https://gofan.co/app/events/872865?schoolId=AL986).
One week from today, on March 14th, all HHS Juniors will take the ACT at school.

Following today's National Weather Service briefing, Dr. Barnette has decided to have a remote learning day on Friday, March 3, 2023. Cullman County will be under a rare high wind warning beginning tomorrow. We are expecting sustained winds 30-40 MPH with gusts 50-60 MPH, well above safe operating conditions for school buses. The NWS says to expect - and be prepared - for downed trees and power outages. Students will be provided assignments to complete tomorrow.

HHS Volleyball tryouts will be March 10. JV & varsity girls must have a current physical on file in order to try out. Registration is available through the QR code posted in the hallways or through the link posted in Coach Grochowalski's Google Classroom. Please note that March 6-9 is open practice in the high school gym from 3 to 5 PM and the official tryout date is March 10.
