It's hard to believe but HHS is getting ready to graduate another group of seniors...Here comes the Class of 2026! We've been talking about these events with our students throughout the year, but we wanted to make sure everyone is prepared for the senior events coming up in the next few weeks.
The senior group photo is April 21 at 11 AM in front of Hanceville Elementary School on Commercial Street. Seniors are asked to wear white shirts.
The HHS Senior/Junior Prom is April 25 (6 PM) at the Loft. Tickets are available on GoFan.
Baccalaureate is May 3 at 5 PM. This event is at Hanceville 1st Baptist Church. Students will wear their caps and gowns and should arrive for the line up at 4:30 PM.
HHS Awards Day is May 12 at 8:15 AM in the Lane Horton Gymnasium. Seniors receiving scholarships need to contact Mrs. Grochowalski so that they can be recognized that day.
The Final Senior Hall Walk Through is also on May 12. This will follow the awards ceremony and the National Honor Society Induction. We are planning to start the walk through at 10:45 AM. Seniors will wear their caps and gowns as they take one final walk through the elementary, middle, and high school halls.
Senior Breakfast and Graduation Practice are May 14 at 8:30 AM and 10 AM. Seniors will meet in the lunchroom at 8:30 for breakfast and a final checkout for the year. We will practice graduation in the coliseum at Wallace at 10 AM. Seniors need to make sure they have transportation to the practice.
Graduation is May 16 at 10 AM at the Wallace State Coliseum. Seniors should arrive at 9:30 to prepare for lining up in the building across from the coliseum. There are no restrictions on the number of people you can invite to attend and tickets are not required.
