HANCEVILLE HIGH BULLDOG STUDENTS AND PARENTS 

Welcome to Hanceville High School’s website:

     This school year has been going well at HHS. Our students are working hard and doing many good things in academics, athletics, and the arts. Our fall sports teams had competitive and successful seasons, especially our football team which began the year with three losses and finished by winning seven games in a row and making the state playoffs. Although we lost in the playoffs, the team had a good run and our seniors completed outstanding careers as Hanceville Bulldogs. 

Our band also had a successful fall, winning many honors in marching competitions and finishing the fall with an excellent holiday concert. The HHS Singers also performed an outstanding concert for local citizens at Garden City Baptist Church. 

Our scholar’s bowl team is currently in competition season and our math and science teams will soon begin to compete with other schools around the area to showcase their skills and knowledge. Many of our students achieved all A’s or all A’s and B’s for first semester’s work, and you will find a link to those lists of students on this website. 

Progress continues on our new gymnasium, and our contractor expects it to be completed in time for the 2013-14 school year. 

We have also reevaluated our safety procedures in light of recent events, and want all of our parents to know that we are going to take some measures to better safeguard our students and staff in the very near future. We are installing a door buzzer system as a first step, and have met with county officials and law enforcement to discuss other measures that are not significantly cost-prohibitive. As always, if you visit our campus, please be sure to report to the main office and sign in. Thank you for your cooperation in this important matter.
