Cross Country

 Aaron Brown competes in a recent cross country meet.
Aaron Brown recently broke the Hanceville High School record for 5k in cross country at the 3A Sectionals at Cold Springs with a time of 17:15.  Aaron also finished 14th in the state meet at Indian Mound Park in Oakville, finishing 
with a time of 17:34. He was named to the All-State Cross Country Team. Aaron said that he feels great about the improvements he made this year, reducing his time from 18:06 at the beginning of the season to his school record time. Now that the season is over, he plans to take a couple of weeks off before beginning his training for next year. In a recent interview, Aaron said, "I would like to encourage everyone to join cross country. It's not just about running; it's about having fun."
